My best friend, Camille, turned
legal 18 a couple of weeks ago, and I decided to paint her a polaroid photo since she’s been itching to get an instax for a while. Camille and I have known each other for almost 10 years now. We first met in grade 4 when she was a transfer student from Subic. And ever since we shared a cheese roll, we were inseparable.
Ah! The innocence of childhood!
So who is Camille? She is about the wittiest person I have ever met. She’s never afraid to share her thoughts. She’s funny, insightful, sarcastic, and overwhelmingly sweet. She has a gift for words and a wonderful heart. Words cannot express how grateful I am to meet such an amazing sister. Thousands of miles cannot separate us apart (thanks Facebook!). Among all my friends, she was the one who always checked up on me, and the one who was always there whenever I needed someone.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I worked on a piece of canvas and painted her face with acrylic paint. Here are pictures of my work in progress.
To finish it off, I painted the polaroid border and added a little message at the bottom.
Happy Birthday Bestie! I love you!
